sybaris presents their 9th annual

Dickens Lunch

Sunday, December 11th at 12:30

These old British recipes seem to evoke the feeling of a long past Christmas that we all seem to try to recreate. We at Sybaris sincerely wish you and those that matter to you the merriest of Christmases yet. The following menu is what Scrooge would have eaten (if he wasn't such a cheap weasel) in his day- it is nice that some traditions (and recipes) don't ever need to change for the times. The Cratchitts would have had a porter to drink, while a reformed Scrooge would have had a claret (red Bordeaux).

chestnut soup

main

roast goose breast with apple-sage stuffing and braised red cabbage
